PINK GUAVA SPRITZER

A tall glass of refreshing pink guava spritzer in this sooper summer is a true gift.
What you need:
6 nos - Pink guavas
1/4 cup - Sugar
1/2 tbsp - Lemon juice
1 tbsp - Ginger juice
Soda as reqd

How to make:
In a juicer add chopped guavas blend till juices squeezed out.

Add sugar and 1 and 1/2 cup water and mix well.

Sieve it add ginger juice and lemon juice and mix well.

Fill half glass with the juice and add chilled soda and serve!

Avocado n Mango Thai Basil Seed Drink


Thai basil seeds drink is a very refreshing one. Any fruit combos works perfect for this drink.


What you need:
Mango puree - 1 cup 
Avocado puree - 1/2 cup
5 tbsp - Thai basil seeds, soaked over nite
1/4 cup - Basil leaves
1/2 cup - Sugar or as reqd
2 cups - Sparkling chilled water



How to make:
Wash and soak the basil seeds over nite to double up.

In a pan add sugar, basil leaves with water bring it to boil and cool it. Once it cools blend and strain it thru sieve. 

To this mixture add mango puree, avocado puree cold water, ice cubes and enjoy!

AMLA NIMBU SHIKANJI


Fresh Amla nimbu shikanji makes a perfect and healthy drink during hot afternoons. The spices enhances its flavors. 


What you need:
4 nos - Amla, finely chopped and de seeded
1/2 - Green chilly
1 no - Lemon juice
5 sprigs - Mint leaves, torn
2 cups - Chilled water
1/2 tsp - Cumin powder
Black salt as required
Sugar as required
Few ice cubes


How to make:
In a juicer add amla pieces, green chilly, mint leaves, lemon juice, water and blend until smooth and sieve it.

Add black salt, sugar and cumin powder mix well until they dissolve.

Pour into tall glasses and serve with ice cubes.

VEGGIE N PANEER PIZZA WITH HOMEMADE PIZZA SAUCE - HBC CHALLENGE

This is the first Home Baker's Challenge, a monthly baking event initiated by Priya's versatile recipes and for this month's HBC's challenge Divya picked pizza.

Made Pizza with homemade pizza sauce and mixed veggies n paneer toppings. Loved baking it and enjoyed it.


For the pizza: Recipe Source - Martha Stewart
APF - 3 and 1/4 cup (more for dusting)
Instant Yeast - 2 and 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1/4 tsp
Warm Water - 1 cup
Olive oil - 3 tbsp
Pizza sauce - 2 tbsp
Veggies - 1 cup (onions, tomato, bell pepper,sweet corn)
Paneer - 1/2 cup
Mozzarella Cheese - 3/4 cup (grated) 


For the sauce:
Olive oil - 2 tbsp
3/4 kg - Plum tomatoes 
3/4 tsp - Dried oregano
1 tsp - Salt
1/8 tsp - Black pepper



How to make sauce:
Heat oil add chopped tomatoes cook for 15 - 20 mins and cool it.



Blend them and sieve it and heat it again and add salt, oregano and pepper mix them cool it.




How to make pizza dough and assembling:
Take warm water, mix the sugar and yeast and let it sit for 10 mins till the yeast becomes frothy.

In a bowl combine all purpose flour, salt and to this add the yeast mixture and start kneading.

Take a bowl, oil the surface and place the dough and cover it with plastic wrap and place the set up in a warm  place till the dough has doubled, almost 1 - 1 and 1/2 hour.

Now punch the dough and knead for 3-4 minutes. Preheat the oven to 450F.

 


Place the dough on the tray and roll out that it fits the pan spread the sauce arrange the veggies and paneer and add fresh mozzarella and bake till the edges turn golden brown and the cheeses are melted, approximately 15 - 20 minutes.

Take out and slice and serve immediately.
